A wide-format printer running a roll of vinyl, used for signage and display work.
Printing

Printing and custom production

Printed materials produced to written specification rather than picked from a catalogue. Offset, digital and wide-format, with the finishing, kitting and distribution that follow the press.

What we produce

Printed products, made to your specification

Each of these is quoted against your artwork, dimensions, stock and quantity. Nothing here is a stock item with your logo added afterwards.

Catalogues, manuals & booklets

Multi-page bound documents, reports, training manuals, program guides and annual reports.

Direct mail & addressed campaigns

Addressed and unaddressed mail, self-mailers, envelopes and reply devices, prepared to Canada Post requirements.

Flyers, brochures & inserts

Folded and flat pieces, notices, information sheets and bilingual public communications.

Large-format signage & displays

Rigid and flexible signage, wayfinding sets, banners, lawn and site signs, exhibit and display systems.

Forms, statements & variable data

Carbonless and multi-part forms, statements, notices and any document where each copy differs.

Labels & identification

Pressure-sensitive labels to your die and material, asset and barcode labels, tags, badges and lanyards.

Packaging & cartons

Printed corrugated, folding cartons, inserts and protective components made to the dimensions of the goods.

Branded goods & apparel

Screen printed, embroidered and pad printed items, workwear, uniforms and promotional goods.

Event & presentation materials

Name badges, signage, folders, tabbed sets and printed collateral produced as one coordinated package.

How it is produced

The process is chosen by the job, not the other way round

Quantity, page count, turnaround and how much each copy varies decide which press a job belongs on. We price the method that suits the run rather than the one that suits us.

Offset printing

For longer runs. Plate setup costs more up front, then the unit price keeps falling, and colour holds consistently across the whole run. The right choice above a few thousand copies.

Digital printing

For short runs, versioning and fast turnaround. No plates, so no setup cost and no minimum that makes a small quantity uneconomic.

Wide-format printing

For signage and display. Direct to rigid substrates or to vinyl and banner material, in sizes a sheet-fed press cannot carry.

Variable data printing

Where every copy differs: addressed mail, sequential numbering, riding-level or site-level versions, individual names and codes.

Bindery & finishing

Saddle stitch, perfect bind, coil and wire-o, folding, scoring, perforating, die cutting, laminating, drilling and tabbing.

Kitting & fulfilment

Printed items assembled into pre-packed sets, so a delivery arrives ready to issue rather than as separate cartons to be sorted.

Warehousing & release

Produce the full quantity once, hold it, and release against call-ups. One print price, delivery when you need it.

Distribution management

Single-site, multi-site and addressed distribution under one order, with delivery scheduled per location.

Substrates and finishes

What it can be printed on, and what can be done to it

If your specification names a material we have not listed, send it. This is what is ordered most often, not the limit of what can be sourced.

Environmental options

Priced alongside the standard option, not instead of it

Public sector buyers work under green procurement obligations, and the usual obstacle is not availability but not knowing what the greener option costs. Where a job allows one, we quote both.

  • FSC-certified and post-consumer recycled stock
  • Vegetable-based and low-VOC inks
  • Recyclable rigid substrates in place of composites where the application permits
  • Right-sized packaging, to cut both shipping volume and waste
  • Run quantities matched to actual need, with the balance warehoused rather than overprinted

Where a solicitation sets a specific environmental standard, we quote to that standard and say plainly if a substrate cannot meet it.

How a print job runs

Nothing goes to press without a signed proof

Print is the one category where an error multiplies by the run length. These four stages exist so a mistake is caught while it still costs nothing.

  1. Digital proof

A PDF proof for content, layout, spelling and dimensions. Fastest stage to change something, and the cheapest.

  2. Prototype or hard proof

A physical sample on the actual stock, so colour, finish, folding and substrate behaviour can be judged in the hand rather than on a screen.

  3. Production run

Released only against written approval of the proof. Colour is checked against the approved sample through the run.

  4. Finishing and delivery

Finished, kitted where required, and delivered to the date confirmed before the job was released.
